Blue Peter - Wolfblood Competition

Win a chance to appear as a Wild Wolfblood in the fourth season of Wolfblood.

CBBC have launched a competition hosted by Blue Peter, giving viewers a chance to appear as a Wild Wolfblood in the show. The competition gives people the chance to travel to the show's set, meet the cast and crew and also to star in the show.

Please note that Wolfblood Viral are not running this competition neither we have anything to do with it.

Part of the opportunity, entrants must make their own Wild Wolfblood style costume, do their makeup which they are to take a photo of themselves and complete a short questionnaire on thr application form. This then must be sent to the CBBC HQ in Media City.

How to enter:

To enter this amazing competition you must make your own wild wolfblood costume, including your own hair and make-up, and take a photo of yourself being wild!

You must also fill out the application form and answer the following questions:

What is great about being a wild wolfblood?
What is the biggest challenge of being a wild wolfblood?
What is this wild wolfblood’s biggest secret?

Really think about what you write for your answers – try to imagine what it’s like to be a real wild wolfblood, and be creative!

Things to remember about your costume design:

Costume

Your wild wolfblood costume must be made from things that you might be able to find in the woods, you can then add to this other materials like sheets or fake fur - but there should not be anything that has a brand or logo on it, or looks like it's brand new and bought from a shop.

Hair and make-up

Your hair and make-up should be how your wild wolfblood looks when they are inhuman form. Your new wolfblood should have their own unique style and look. If you would like to add elements of how the wild wolfbloods look as they transform into wolves, for example veining up, then that is fine for this competition. No wolf masks!

Please do not do anything with your eyes - in the programme the wolf eyes are created using computer graphics so do not try it at home.

Original

Please don’t just copy what you have seen before; your wild wolfblood must have its own look and identity. Think about what you might find in the wild that could help make your look original.

Usable

If you win, you will be wearing your costume and hairstyle for filming so it needs to be practical and wearable for a whole day. Your make-up design will be a guide that will be applied by our experts on the day.

Relevant

Your wild wolfblood must feel unique and original but remember you are part of a pack of wolfbloods and your costume and make-up should fit in with the pack’s look.

Remember that the wild wolfbloods love nature and being free. This should help you with your design of both the costume, hair and make-up.

What next?

Make sure you fill in the competition application form with a grown-up and read all of the competition terms and conditions. Remember to attach your wild wolfblood photo to your application form.

Who can enter?

You must be 9 years old or over to enter this competition.

There will be 3 age categories:

9-10-year-olds
11-12-year-olds
13-15-year-olds

What’s the prize?

The judging process will be split into two rounds:

Round 1

The top 10 entries in each of the 3 age categories will be chosen.

Round 2

A judging panel will look at the final designs and choose 1 winner from each of the 3 age categories. From the top 3 entries the winner will be chosen.

1st prize: 1 winner

To appear (as a wild wolfblood) within an episode of the new series of CBBC’s Wolfblood.

The winner will travel to the Wolfblood set in Newcastle for one day’s filming and associated travel (provisional window: 23rd November to 11th December 2015) to be transformed into a “wild wolfblood” and be filmed in a scene of the drama.
The winner will have the chance to meet the cast and crew and get an insider’s look into this hit CBBC drama. The winner will be filmed by Blue Peter whilst on set.
As well as the location visit the winner will receive a signed photo of the Wolfblood cast and a Blue Peter Orange competition badge.
