PRINCE AUTOPSY COMPLETED . Still No Cause of Death

12:54 PM PST -- The Autopsy office just released the Prince's body to his family.

Prince's autopsy was just completed ... however the cause for the singer's death still remains a mystery.

The 4 hours procedure started at 9 AM CDT Fri and Prince's body are going to be discharged to his family later in a short time.It is stated that results from the exam won't be disclosed until toxicology results come back... that may take a few weeks.

A rep for the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office in Minnesota tells that they are still gathering the singer's medical records as well as family medical history to complete their investigation.

Prince died Thursday morning when being found unresponsive in his material Park compound.
